An van Iwaarden is an accomplished supply chain leader with over 15 years of experience in the industry. She currently serves as the ITO Mode Director Europe at Dow, a role she has held since September 2022, where she oversees operations across the region from Terneuzen, Zeeland, Netherlands. Prior to this position, she was the Supply Chain Leader for Polyurethanes Systems EMEAI at Dow for over three years, where she played a key role in optimizing supply chain processes across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India.
Her career at Dow also includes serving as the Business Supply Chain Planning Leader, where she led strategic planning initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations.
Before joining Dow, An gained significant experience at Philips Lighting in Eindhoven, where she held various roles, including BPO SCAM Professional Projects for the EMEA region and Supply Chain Account Manager for Philips Benelux. She began her career at Philips as a Distribution Engineer, focusing on optimizing distribution networks.
An holds a strong background in lean warehousing and performance improvement, which she developed during her graduation internship, where she focused on reducing waste in warehouse environments. Her extensive experience and strategic leadership have made her a key figure in the field of supply chain management.
